Åsnes Expedition Amundsen Virtual Challenge

Join us for the Åsnes Expedition Amundsen Virtual Challenge 2021. The race can be done in two ways:

Rules:

You have one month (March 1st – March 31st) to complete the distance.
You can do it all at once or split it up in several sessions.
We need documentation that you actually covered the distance. Photo of watch, gpx file or similar must be uploaded.
We need a photo of you pulling the tire/pulk

In the spirit of Xtremeidfjord everyone can win an award.

There will be a lottery amongst everyone who finish the challenge for the following awards.

Brynje Antarctic Special Edition Åsnes Expedition Amundsen Jacket. Value apx. NOK 3.299,- We have two jackets for the lottery.
1 pair of ski`s and poles from Åsnes. The winner can choose between Børge Ousland BC, Amundsen BC or Mountrain Race 48 ski`s. Note: This awards will be sent out October 2021.
1 pulk from Fjellpulken. Xcountry 118, complete with harness, check it out here
1 sleeping bag from Helsport. Check it out, for men for women

Special award for whoever does the longest distance in a month.

Special Award for whoever uploads the most «creative» photo.

The full distance has to be completed to be eligible for the lottery.

How to document your sessions:

– Upload picture proof of your session(s) or a link to eg. Strava.

– Picture of your watch, screenshot of your app and similar are also ok.

– Link to Strava or other similar apps can be added where it says URL

– Also upload a photo of you pulling a tire/pulk.

This must be done for EVERY session.

The total distance will be updated automatically and you can follow your progress on the map.
